
In the beginning…. There was us. Two people that had the same interests, thoughts, and taste in food. Best friends that had one common problem.
We Love Food. [a little too much.]
Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Rastafarian. It was all amazing. The mixture of flavors; the savory and the sweet, the bold and the creamy. The textures; crunchy on the outside, yet soft on the inside, you know the whole nine-yards. Even the smells were too good to keep us away. (Don’t even get us started on the smell of freshly baked bread!)
That’s where the trouble began. All throughout high school, we gave in. Whatever we craved at the time is what we got. It was wonderful, filling, and absolutely, TERRIBLE for us. So, finally, something clicked and we made ‘The Switch.’ This year we are starting our first year at the university of our dreams and our goal… no, our mission….is to BEAT the so called ‘Freshman 15’. Who isn’t worried about gaining those 15 pounds that most people, unfortunately, never lose after college?!
So here we are. We decided to blog about all of the tips and tricks that we’ve already learned and the many more we expect to learn throughout our college years. Hopefully, we’ll be able to help someone out there who is just as lost as we once were.
